The Science

What is HCG?

HCG is a glycoprotein hormone naturally produced during pregnancy. Therapeutically, it mimics LH by binding the same receptor on Leydig cells of the testes.

HCG bypasses this by directly stimulating the testes.

Laboratory Observations

Key Observed Effects of HCG

Testicular Function

Preserves natural testicular activity during TRT.

Endogenous Testosterone

Stimulates the body's own testosterone production.

Mechanism of Action

Mechanism of Action

HCG mimics LH to directly stimulate testicular function.

1

LH Mimicry

Binds LH receptors on Leydig cells to stimulate testosterone production.

2

Testicular Preservation

Maintains testicular size and function during TRT.
